Sedco SP-22
I found this little .22lr cal. piston, has pearl looking grips, is semi-auto.
I got it for 40.00
I am sure that by the price it is not a high quality pistol, but for 40.00, I thought i would take a chance.
Has anyone ever had experience with this pistol. Reliability and quality??
History and dates of manufacture??
Thanks for any help.

The Sedco was made in Lake Elsinore Ca. I live about 30 minutes from there. I've never seen a Sedco pistol but I can tell you the the hills around the lake are called the Sedco Hills. I did a search of the WWW and found this.
"In 1987, John Davis left Davis Industries to start his own gun manufacturing business, Sedco Industries Inc. John Davis was in business for only three months before a $45 million dollar lawsuit alleging he stole trade secrets was filed against him by George and Bruce Jennings, and his own brother, Jim Davis, of Davis firearms. Sedco closed in 1989, and John Davis declared bankruptcy three years later.

The company was only in business for about two years so I doubt that much data on reliablity has been compiled. Since you actually own one of these pistols take it out, shoot it, and then give us a report. There is very little reason to worry about reliablity/quality now, after you have already made the purchase.

If they don't trust us with guns, how can we trust them with the government?0
