Light jacketed loads for .35 Remington
Anyone have any data, thoughts, etc. on jacketed loads in the 1000 - 1500 fps range using pistol bullets in a .35 Remington (M141 Remington)?

should work ok, i'd try .357 mag. pistol loading data. the faster powders and larger case volume should get you to that vel. range 0 -
My brother worked up some loads for his .35 Rem 336 using pistol bullets.
Said they were very destructive on Jack Rabbits[:D]0 -

I think I'd start with Unique and 357/38 Special data. Unique does well in large cases with light loads. If you are looking for cheaper shooting have you considered cast bullets. The Lyman 49th edition has data for 358315 204gr starting in the 1350 fps to 1800 fps. That bullet was designed for the 35 Rem.0 -

I use 110 and 125 JHP pistol bullets out of my 350 Rem Mag Encore pistol, not quite sure where I got the data - probably the "handgun" section of a reloading manual. Might try looking at the single shot or pistol section of Sierra, Speer, Hornady, etc as they may have these loads listed for the 35 Remington in a Contender. The loads listed in this caliber for the Contender should be on the lighter side compared to what you'd find in the Marlin. 0
