remington model 12c value

Got a nice 12c octagon barrel in very good condition,I would appreciate any input about the value. Got to sell it, but sure don't want to.

I just love these rifles. The most I have given for a 12-C is $500, but it looked like it just came out of the box. If you get between $300-400 you'll be doing good. For collectors the condition is everything. If you sell it on auction be very critical about all the flaws on the metal and wood. Everyone wants their firearm to be a notch or two higher on the grading scale than it is, be objective.

Rem: Thanks for the imput, I've had this gun for 50yrs,got it from my great uncle so hate to get rid of it.
