    Hello Buck...

    I am not trying to be a smart-ass about this, but your question is kind of like me asking you "Could anyone recommend someone to put a new engine in Dodge Ram?". There are a lot of variables that can affect the final answer.

    First, what is wrong with the barrel currently on it? Second, do you already have the new replacement barrel in hand, or are you also looking for a barrel? Model 92 Sporting Rifle or Carbine? Inquiring minds would like to know a bit more[:)].

    Sorry Bert, Should have said this is a project beginning with an action only. It is a complete action but I will need barrel, mag. tube, and barrel ring. I am thinking carbine style as it is a saddle ring. THANKS BUCK

    Hello Buck,

    No problem. Next question... Are you looking to find and use original parts to rebuild it, or to find and use repro parts? What about the stocks?

    Frankly, and as much as I abhor seeing an old neglected Winnie, if you also need the stocks, it really will not be cost effective to purchase all of the needed parts and then pay someone to rebuild and refinish it for you.
