WASR and SAR ?????

I'm kindof new to the AK terminology.
What is the WASR and SAR and what are the differences.
I just bought a Romanian AK47 by century arms that was a package deal with the bayonet, shealth, sling, cleaning kit, and 1-30 mag for 320.00. Can anyone give me some answers?[8D][?]

  I believe the Sar's are the preban that are meant to have a double stack mag in it. The Wsar's were originally intended and made to only accept single stack mags and are now being converted to hold double stacked mags. They are probably the best bang for your buck but I personally dont care for the finish.
