Looks like Browning, BUT it`s a Remington??? HELP

I have a 12 gauge shotgun that looks like a Belguim made Browning,(Commonly called a "Hump back" in these parts)but is actually a Remington. I was told that Remington had been making this gun and was sued by Browning and had to stop making it. Supposedly there was only a very small amount made. Is there any truth to this, and if so, what would it be worth?

  remington made these under license from browning (m-11, and a modernised m48 and 11/48) as did savage (m-720, 755). savage also made a pump under this pat. (m520/620).

  Whoever you been talking to has been giving you some bum dope. The Model 11 alone was made by Remington from 1911 until 1948. Some 300,000 were made during that time frame. Your source might have been confusing the semi-auto shotguns that Remington made for Browning during the German occupation of Belgium in W W II. They were made in relatively small numbers and would have more value then a Model 11.

  Depending on condition. $100.00-$250.00 I have one and have shot it for years.
