Beretta 96g Elite II

I am interested in this pistol but having never fired one I don't know much about it. I have plenty of experience with smaller caliber handguns, but this will be my first "larger" caliber pistol. Just looking for some thoughts from people who have had experience with this gun. Thanks for the help.
