winchester model 1500

Irecently purchased a very nice winchester model 1500 20 gauge autoloader.After i bought i read an article about problems with the winchester 1300 ,is the 1500 an improved model ,or are there still problems with this weapon

  Some years ago, a friend gave me a Winchester Model 1500 12 gauge. I have enjoyed shooting it and have no complaints. However, I have looked to put a recoil pad on it and cannot find any reference to that model. Is anyone familiar with it and what recoil pad might fit it. The base of the stock measures 5" x 1 1/2" .Thanks,David

  THE 1500 IS AN UPDATED 1300, THAT SAID THEY BOTH ARE 'PLASTIC AND MUSIC WIRE' WONDERS. THEY WORK OK IF KEPT CLEAN AND NOT SHOT TO MUCH (THIS IS NOT A COMPETION TRAP OR SKEET GUN).

  Enjoy. I have a 1500 20 and use it every fall on doves. Fun to shoot.
