I have a set of original grips for a Ruger Super blackhawk 44mag 1979 era. Will thy fit a Ruger 3 screw old model 44mag. Thanks for your replys

  If you mean will the "79 grips fit the OM 3 screw super blackhawk, made from '59 to '73 I do believe they will, with the exception of the few long frame supers that were made. However the medallion from '73 to date is a silver eagle on black, and prior to '73 the eagle is black on silver. The grips will NOT fit the Old Model Flattop 44mag with XR3 grip frame ('56 to '62).
