  I don't know what you source you are using that says 1982, but it is horribly inaccurate! The year 1949 started with serail no. 1,500,000. Based on best estimates, serial number 1,799,xxx would have left the factory in 1951.

  Thanks bert,I just went to a site somebody recommended(bad idea I see)And it said it was produced "after" 1982
