cz 527 mag?

i just bought a cz 527 22 hornet and i have found that i have to load rounds that have a very short overall lenght in order to fit them in the magizine. i want to load longer rounds (40 grain v-maxes) is it possible to get a magizine for a 222 or 223 and use it instead of the original mag. anyone got a magizine they care to try loading a hornet into. thanks for all replies.
