Can an order be shipped to an APO?

I'm going to be going to Iraq in a few months. I was told that I could have a extra side arm with me. If I was to win an auction or purchase one on this site could it be shipped to an APO or the base Arms Room[?]

  You were told wrong. Personal firearms are not permitted in combat zones. You will be subject to disciplinary action if caught with one.
