my neighbor borrowed $2oo dollars and gave me his gun to keep if he didn't pay back the money in 1 week. that was 3 months ago. i was told it is worth $400. someone else said $600. it's a smith & wesson 357 magnum, model 28 highway patrolman. serial# s194293 from the end of the cylinder to end of barrel it measures 4 inches. whats the best route to take to get top dollar for it.

I recently sold a NIB example on GB for a little over $400. In the condition you describe, yours would be worth a little less. Try looking at closed auctions and see if you can find where one similar to your sold.

Yes, you can still get them...from people like you and me, but there are no more being imported, so the number of them in the US is finite, and estimated at about 4,000 pieces.

I was in a bind or I wouldn't have sold mine. I recommend you hang onto yours if you can.

Are you sure they aren't being imported anymore?

(I've got a 54 Tula - love it - Yugo and am selling it.)

I just saw a couple of Russians in S. CA Gun, San Diego, CA, last week.

zipperzap shhhhhhhhhhhhh you wake up the Diane Frakenstein monster.

I hate the death penalty, gladiator fighting was much more civilized, at least you give them a sporting chance to live a little longer and take a lot of load off the Governor and Supreme Court
