Does any one have any experience with the 1911? Are they good hand guns? where are they made? Thanks shooter1 0 -
I have had no hands-on experience with the Charles Daly 1911A1 clones.
My understanding is that they are made by Armscor in the Philippines.
Their price-point is aimed at the low end of the 1911A1 clone market. How this affects their quality and long term reliability, I don't know?

I have one and shoot the crap out of it. It has been no problem for me and shows no wear so i give it a good shooting rating and it does not look bad either.

i know a little about these. i had a customer order one thru my shop. when it came in he seen phillippines on the frame and decided he didn't want it. i bought it and wow. it shoots better than the colt series 70 i had and all the bells and whistles to boot. i give it a trigger job and me and her have been together ever since 0 -
