gun paint??
what kinda paint should i use on my varmint gun?. something that i can "wash off" also, where can i get it?

Most of the paints available for guns, like the various "camo kits" are semi-permanent and do not just "wash-off". When you say wash-off, I assume you mean with "water"? If the paint is water soluble it would come off in your hands (from moisture/perspiration) and unto your clothes, vehicle, etc.
Most gun paint kits are oil or epoxy based. The oil based kits require solvents which could damage many plastic or some wood finishes when you remove/wash them off. Epoxy finishes are even harder to remove, and are meant to be permanent.
Maybe somebody here knows of a practical "washable" gun paint, that can help you. I would be curious too!! [:D][:D][:D][8D][8D]

The Hunter Specialties paint that drdoolittle sent you a link to is excellent. I use it to camo up my paintball gun. You might be able to find it a little cheaper though than at Brownells. I always have called it Bow Flage, maybe they dropped the name? If you spend a little time looking, you might find it cheaper

Testor's Model Airplane Paint. Comes in little jars or aerosol. Flat black, Sand & OD Green (flat) are only $1.25 a bottle.
Washes away with MPro-7.
Can be applied with a Q-tip.
You paint what you want; I have a Winter SKS, a Desert Ruger M77MKII, a Cattail Special Mossberg 500, and a Woodland T/C Contender.
