FAL--who makes the best?

I've read good things about DSA's FAL but I see some others out there that cost less.

What about Springfield Armory? Do they still make one?

What should I look for or avoid if buying a used one?

Any advice and recommendations will be appreciated.

    If you want the best, there is only one choice, a real pre 89 ban FN with the safety sear cut. They are out there, but pricey. The are only going to go up in value.

    If you want one to shoot buy a DSA.
