cleaner ammo
Does anybody know of some cleaner firing ammo for target shooting? Im using winchester target loads for my 9mm,40s&w,and 45acp. This stuff is great and the price is wright but it leaves my pistols looking like I dragged them through a dirt field. Any suggestions?

You may want to try some BLAZER ammo.... it may be cleaner, I shoot mostly handloads, so I don't have first hand experience with much of it. I have shot winchester white box in my 9MM and it doesn't seem more dirty than my handloads. Any time you put more than one or two boxes through a pistol it is goning to look real dirty, but they will still keep on shooting.
If you are dong a lot of shooting it might be time to start reloading. You can get complete packages for reloading on th GB auction site, it is a lot cheaper to handload. You can then choose the load that shoots cleanest for you.0 -
CCI Blazer is dirty too, but shoots well also - aluminum cases though so you cant reload it, but its cheaper than Winchester. Just went thru a bunch of Win 45 acp and was thinking the same thing!! 0
