luger ID and value
I just acquired a Luger and was hoping I could lean more about it. The serial number is 3069 and 69 is stamped on every other part except the magazine, it's stamped 5025. On the top of the gun over the chamber it's stamped 1937. on top of the bolt it's stamped S/42. On the left side of the barrel it's stamped B'O'HLER STAHL MADE IN AUSTRIA.
The gun is in excellent condition and there are some other small "proof marks" that I can't easily descibe. 6" barrel and the grips are wood and excellent. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Ed

Common pre-war military Luger made by Mauser, with a commercial replacement barrel. THAT'S the kind of shooter our other poster is looking for.
