    Hello Gwenn001
Welcome to the forums, I believe the 027 was the "premium grade" Hamilton. Mostly just a little better shaped/grade of wood. I obtained one about a year ago from an elderly woman that was selling most of the stuff that she and her husband collected during their lifetime. Cheaply built little rifles but probably perfect for what they were designed for. I display mine in a see through coffee table along with my Iver Johnson "lemon squeezer". Is your Grandpa's in good condition?

Worry is the interest humans pay on the debt of miscalculation.

Your Hamilton Model 27 is a single shot tip-up .22 caliber (not guage) rifle with a stamped steel receiver and a barrel length of either 16 or 14 7/8 inches.

Values of this rifle depend on condition....

    V.G. - $250
    Good - $200
    Fair - $150

Awwww, darn! I thought this thread might have pics of Linda Hamilton and her rifle (from the Terminator movies, et al...) [:D][:D][:D]

Big Al (who thinks Linda is a dish, no matter what firearm she's holding...)

P.S. Gwen, welcome to the forums!
