High Cap Pistoles
I'm seeing more and more hi-cap pistols, and I need a little advice.
I am happy with all the standard mags for all my autos.
BUT, my basic problem is I do not HAVE a pistol with a hi-cap mag.
I don't like to waste my firearm money.
1) on a POS, or
2) on something that is beyond my limitations.
OK - toss me some stuff

If you want high cap, get a Glock 17. 9mm will hold 17rounds
Even my compact G19 will do 15 rounds.
If you like 1911s, there are high cap 1911s out there from Wilson, Kimber, or Para (Just don't buy a LDA because its not a real 1911 with its double action pull)
HK USP will hold 12 rounds of 45ACP, big gun.
Sig have a lot of capacity also in 9mm and .40
Their 45ACP P220 holds as much as a standard 1911.0 -
The tupperware gun gets slammed around on a regular basis, but like that old watch add, keeps on ticking. When I wanted a handgun with high capacity and stopping power I settled on the Glock 22 in 40S&W. 0 -

Para Ordnance has the P.40 Limited that carries 15 rounds of .40 caliber S&W. That is the most I think you can get out of a hi-cap pistol. Think about it 15 rounds of .40 cal, have two of them and thats even better.[8D]
Actually, the P-16 should hold 16 rounds of .40...that's "-16" part of "P-16". With some aftermarket basepads, I think some folks are getting around 19 rounds of .40s&w in a Para mag.0 -
You could always get a 30 round glock 9mm mag. Cant go wrong there.[;)]

Is this a ranking game? To see who gets the biggest capacity?
Ok. I'll play. Para P-18. Yup. That's 18 rounds of 9mm. plus one in the chamber. Magazine sits flush without sticking out.
But my favorite is my STI "2011" in 9mm. with an IPSC legal (open class) 170mm magazine I get in 27 rounds in. (and its a lot shorter than Glocks big stick) I know somebody who adds in a +3 extension and gets 30 rounds plus one in the chamber.
It's all fun for the "games" (IPSC) but they ain't practical for anything else in real life. I would have a heck of a hard time trying to carry one of these babies concealed... [:D][:D][:D][8D][8D]

It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.0 -
Para p-16's will hold 16+1 from the factory, I get 20+1 with arredondo extensions using standard followers. I have friends that use grahm? basepads, and STI race gun followers and get 22+1. while still making 140mm length.
