6mmPPC and 6.5 Comparison.
10-years ago I did lots of loads and shooting. Paper & Prey.
I am too old and too tired to hunt. BUT!!!!!!!!
Now I am interested in 6.5 X 55 and up.
6.5X.O6, 6.5X.264, Rem. 260 & Rem280, etc, etc.
I have decided on the Rem 260. Factory and my loads.
Mostly I will be shooting paper only. But it would be my
everything Gun for all but Elk, Bear, and Moose.
Any comments?

These calibers would be prefectly acceptable for bear, elk, and yes -even moose. I shoot almost exclusively (some people must be tired of hearing me say this) with the 6.5 X 55. It is incredibly accurate. It packs the punch of a 270 with 243 ballistics and .222 recoil. It has a good bullet density, nice selection of bullet weights, moderate chamber pressures, and is inherently accurate. I think, also, in the .260 you have made a good choice.
