  Not really my area - but I've had a careful read of Flayderman (8th edn).
  
  Only the model 1A and 2A have the stright grip to frame juncture, and straight standing breech like yours - but that still means either 22 or 30 cal.
  
  However, only the 2A (30cal) is descrobed as having chequered grips - so thats my bet - a 30 cal Model 2A. Value $225 (good) to $450 (fine).
  
  The 32 cal is quite different - in particular has horizontal mark "Sharps Patent/ Jan 25 1859" in right side of frame; rounded grip to frame juncture; serial 1-15000 only.
