Benelli vs. Beretta
Could someone give me some info on these two guns as in which is better and which one has the least recoil?

I have the Beretta 391 and a Benelli Super 90. I like the both and can't tell much difference in recoil. Both cost me around $700. Beretta has a wood stock, Benelli has composite. Get the one that feels good to you. My Beretta came with a hard case and shims. Both are GREAT Guns... my .02

im partial to the benelli, but like NRA said...you need to be more specific of which model(s) you are looking at. i.e benelli makes one heck of a turkey gun, M2 field. if your worried about recoil and have some ching to throw around...you cant beat the SBE 2 w/comfort tech....its like shooting a BB gun......

I own both a Beretta 391 & a Benelli Legacy. I shoot sporting clays reguarly and normally that consist of 2-300 rounds per weekend. I cannot tell any difference in recoil, BUT: the main differences I have found is the Benelli is not prone to parts breakage as the Beretta recoil system is, the Benelli has never jammed as the Beretta has, & most importanly the Benelli is TEN times easier to clean since it does not have a gas operated recoil system.

I agree with clays. If your going to put alot of rounds thru it, I'd go with the benelli, It's inetia operating sytem is alot cleaner. I have a benelli M3 and a beretta 391 Silver Mallard and both funtion flawlessly. Another good option if you don't want to spend that much money, in my opinion, is the Fabarm (H&K) H368. I picked two of these up on GB brand new for $350 each. Only problem I had was taget loads not cycling, until I broke it in (i.e. I put few boxes of shells thru it). 0
