Looking for a good ammo source of 7.63mm ...
... it's getting hard to find a reliable source of the C96 feed. It's also known as the .30 Mauser.
(No 7.62x25 Tokarev, please.)

J & G Sales www.jgsales.com in the beautiful city of Preskitt AZ is selling S & B commerical, 7.62 x 25 for $8.75 a box of 50, when you buy in (5) box lots.
Incidentally if you don't know the difference the physical dimensions are the same on the "EUROPEAN" made ammo labeled 7.63 x 25 or 7.62 x 25.
A lot of the ex military stuff ( Specially Czech ) that has been imported over years was made for use in submachine guns. It's way to hot for steady use in the old Mauser Broomhandles. Your doing the right thing, by being picky about the ammo you use in yours.

rufe, while the cartridges are very close, the Mauser version is typically about 0.020" longer and loaded to a lower pressure level than the 7.62x25.
