Flint Lock pistol web site

I have a flint lock pistol- I measure it at 20 1/2 inches overall and barrel lenght is 13 inches. has dummy ram rod. I know it is not a 50 caliber maybe 60. I know it is very old - nothing special about it. not a cartouche or marking anywhere but I would like to research it. Where do you suggest I start. Thanks in advance iowa

  For anyone to help you a picture is needed, better several pictures from different views. To help yourself you will have to look at pictures of flint pistols and try to find one that looks like yours. There are several antique gun websites by dealers and auctions that you could explore. Try a Google search for antique guns and follow up on whatever you find. Hope this helps.
