"build your own" kits
Anyone tried these, like for a derringer? Are they worth buying? Where could you get one? Thanks.

Black powder. Have done a couple over the years. Not as many companies making the kits today. However, here is a good source.

I built a kentucky pistol from a kit I was given. Doesn't look like a custom built pistol from a master craftsman, but it looks OK and shoots just fine. Kinda fun too, and I lack the patience for this kind of thing. The skills required are minimal. 0
