    Changing the parts should be a snap. Your instructions explain how to dismantle the lockwork.

    I never took down a SP101, but I think it will go something like this:

    First, make sure it is unloaded. Remove grips. Cock the hammer. On the mainspring strut, you will notice a hole near the bottom. Stick a small punch or paper clip through the hole. Let the hammer down. The mainspring and strut will come out as a unit. There is no tension on the hammer now. Push out the hammer pin and remove the hammer upward.

    Now you can replace the hammer. Or you can chuck your hammer in a padded vise and de-spur it.
