Age of Winchester 88

Can somebody tell me what year this Winchester 88 was made? Serial no 251042. Thank You

  There have been some heated discussions over the DOM of 88's here lately. My blue book tells me the Serial # should have a H prefix in front of it. DOM 1970. Hope this helps.

  I agree with the 1970.
