Years ago when I was FFL dealer, I sent several firearms to a company called Armalloy for hard chroming. They would electropolish the interior of bore and plate the bore,exterior and all interior parts except springs with a very hard chrome finish that resembled stainless steel. I can't find them listed anymore. Are they still in business [?]

I had done a search but failed to find it. That finish is great. I carried a Walther PP in an inside waistband holster when I was working for several years. Prespiration was a constant problem. even when wiped it down every day. Armalloy solved the problem. Also had done a Mod 28 S&W that I shot in local PPC matches. That revolver has had in excess of 15000 rounds with no appreciable wear or looseness. Like a dumba--, I traded the Walther and went to a S&W 4516 until I retired. Wish I had that sweet shooting PP back
