I have a 16 gauge shotgun, apparently made in Germany, I need ID help. Underside of barrels has a shield with the letters S&D, underneath the letters are a pair of crossed cannon. Over the shield are the letters RECORD. Also there is a crown lying on its side with a straight line, the top of the line has 2GSCHP, under the line is 27GBI. The words Krupp-Essen. On the water table is a crown with the letter U underneath, a crown with the letter W underneath, and what appears to be a Prussian Eagle. Can any one help with this?

    Thanks

    Phil

I got the following instructions off a MilSurp site last week, this was for another guy who was asking how to post pictures.

"First thing you need is a site to host your picture. What I mean by that is that you will need to upload your pictures to a web site that will host(display) them for you. You should not use your hard drive to host pictures for safety sake. Use www.photobucket.com to host your pictures.

After you have uploaded your pictures to the site that will host them for you(per their directions), the next thing you will want to do is go to the picture hosting site and view the picture. While you are viewing the picture, right click on it and you'll see another window that should pop up, now click on "properties" and copy the picture URL. If you know how to "cut & paste" this will be a piece of cake.

Now that you have the picture URL and your ready to post your picture. Do the following, use the following code except take out all the ***'s. The ***'s are used here only so you can see the code. In other words if I posted the code with out the ***'s you will see a picture instead of the code. Anyways use this code to post your picture..
    [*img]the picture URL goes here[*/img]"

I'm winging it on this one, but from the shape of the reciever, I would guess it is a CZ product. Anything along those lines on the reciever or barrel?

does it say anything on the back of the butt? look on the barrel. what does it say? its recoiling shotgun from around the early 50's or late 40's. looks very much like a savage/stevens style design or a winchester model 40.
