Which mount for a Weatherby Vanguard ??

I have seen the combined mount/rings that Weatherby sells for the Vanguard. However, I don't feel like paying $45 for them when I've got plenty of good rings laying around. Are there any other mounts out there for the Vanguard? The only other one I saw was a Weaver I think and it mentioned heavy shimming (which I'd rather not fool with). Thanks.

  I havent found any yet but i was wondering how it shoots, and what is the price range. Ill keep looking.

  The Vanguard will use any mounts that will fit a Remington 700.
