can I use a kel-tec carbon 9mm mag for my p11
I have seen 20 and I believe 30 round mags for the carbon. Only a 10 round mag for the pistol. Are they compatible?

I believe you mean Kel-Tec "Carbine" and are refering to the "Sub-2000" folding carbine.
The Sub-2000 comes from the factory with different grip assemblies that can accept different handgun magazines. The grip for the Glock or Beretta will not allow interchangability with your P-11, but a Smith and Wesson grip will. Your P-11 matches the S&W 59-Series magazine.
There are aftermarket 20 and 30-round S&W magazines that will work in your P-11.
Be aware though, that there are a lot of poor quality ones out there; your best bet for greater capacity with your Kel-Tec is Factory S&W 15-round magazines. If you look for 20 or 30-rounders, shop carefully!
