Try the SIGHTRON scope line instead. Same
price range, much better scope. I like my 3X9X42
better than my expensive Leupold vari-X IIIs!0 -
never seen that brand, does it have AO if so how close will it focus?
better then a 600dollar scope you say?

I have two Millet scopes and I am happy with them.

Mr. Gee,
Forgot to mention that my Sightron scopes are the mid-range in price
SII series. And yes they focus and shoot just as well, if not
better than, the Leupolds I own. And I have 5 Leupolds! Check
out the "exact tract" feature these scopes have....this is
important for variable scopes.
Look through one if you have a chance before buying,,,You
will be amazed.

I looked through one and almost bought it. My problem is optics always do great in the store then when real conditions prevail you wished you bought something else. The 50mm obj. of the Millet would have helped it.
I own and like; Leupold 6.5-20 X40, SA 6X40, SA 4-14X56, 2 Sightron S1's 1 mildot, one not. My wife has a 3-9 Burris fullfield II. My Nikon Prostaff has been a bit wanting in the light dept. I also have a couple other less expensive scopes that fill the bill but don't stand out.
I have shot through Zeiss and have been impressed. Same with Swarovski. But the price tag doesn't allow much in the way of options to the average guy. The most you can get under $500 is the 3.5-10X44 which is a nice scope, but not great power when reaching out 700-800 yds. at smaller objects. Or again, ballistic measuring features that help gauge drop out that far. -hope that helps
We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>0 -
actually the scope will be for a 10/22 custom project an wasn't to happy aboutlaying down some big bucks anyway just not yet, i have varX3 6.5X20-AO side focus sit'n on a 700VLS 243 an Redfield G 5star 6X18-AO on 788 22-250 which i'd rather not remove, so i'm looking for something a little cheaper an was going to give the Millet a try but still up in the air, rite now there is a Bushnell tracker non AO sit'n on the .22 an not at all happy with the eye movement up on the higher powers, i'm shooting 3/8 -1/2" @ 62 yrds [back yard] w/ sub-sonics an i know the GM barrel can do better then the 3/8ths, today i weigh'd out an measused these little bugger an put a nice group together, but still want a little better scope thanks for all the comments Rich G
