savage

couple years ago i bought a savage cub single shot 22 and rechambered it to 22 magnum...solid little rifle with some heft and wood stock....thought i would do same again so i got a rascal....never got hands on first so i was disppointed when it arrived..plastic stock was sop but reciever and bolt are about 1/2 the metal of the cub...compare the two and the rascal should sell for no more than $100...fine for lr but not sure about magnum...buy and learn

    Just to clarify for me, what are you calling big game? [8D] Savage is a very good rifle and for North America, excellent.

    i am lookin at something in the 7mm mag for north american animals but didnt know where it stood like with remington ruger?
