Sig 226 (possibly 229).....357 or .40?
I've fired only one Sig (a 226 .40 S&W) not long ago, and the heavy trigger pull on the initial shot notwithstanding, I loved it. Looking to purchase one soon. I'll be using it strictly for target shooting (non-competitive), not a carry gun, etc.
Which caliber do you prefer? (Left out 9mm for a reason: just don't want one...).
Thanks!

On the 229 you can have the best of both worlds. By changing the barrels from .357 Sig to .40 or vice versa, you can shoot ether caliber. Straight drop in exchange of barrels and still use the same magazines for both cal's. It's good you have already tryed the .40. the .357 Sig will kick more and is more expensive to shoot. 0 -
I prefer the .40. [8D]
