Remington 512P Value & Transfer Question
Hi,
I have a Remington 512P in very good condition with an almost perfect original stock. I see 512's for sale all the time but never see the 512P with the peep sight. Is this an uncommon variation? What would the average value be as I'm thinking of listing it. It does not have a serial number but a code of "WJ". I think that puts it in the early '60's.
Also, I have some firearms that I'd like to list but I do not hold an FFL. Does that present a major problem for an "out of state" FFL holder that would complete the buyer's transfer?

Thanks for the helpful info Mark. I think I'll give it a go and see how the auctions make out. I would think that the receiving FFL might be comfortable with a copy of my State's License to Carry, at least to cover his butt. And I would have no trouble providing a copy of that if needed.
