Need appraisal help: Browning Shotgun
In addition to the pistol, I would also like to sell the shotgun my grandfather handed down. It is a Browning Light Twelve, made in Belgium. It says "Special Steel-12 Gauge-Shell 2 3/4" and has the number 70G 22197 written on the bottom. It has a wood stock and some decorative ornamentation on the metal, with a gold colored trigger. I don't fire it, so perhaps there is somebody out there who would? Thanks again for you help!

Hello Dave,
About the only thing I can tell you for sure, is that your grandfathers' Browning A5 Light 12 was manufactured in 1970. The value will depend primarily on the graded condition. That said, most Browning A5s 12 gauge A5s of that era will sell in the $300 - $750 range.
