    Not too clear on this--is your 1911 a HI-CAP model, such as a Para-Ord P-14, or a standard single stack G.I.-type? It seems like most of the wide frame hi-cap 1911-types use Para mags or something very similar, and Para mags will fit most of them and are very reliable. If you're after single stack mags, I've had great luck with Triple-K 10 and 15 round mags. A couple of years ago a friend ordered several 15 round mags from Tom Forrest Co., and they were absolutely terrible. Probably made in China. We had to disassemble them and file burrs from the sides of the followers and the magazine body's lips and inside top edges; and although they functioned after being worked over, my Triple-K mags are far, far better. So, go with a brand name.

    i am using them in my marlin camp 45 carbine.it takes a regular 1911 mag.where can i find these triple -k mags? thanks don
