  It seems that I responded to your post about this rifle a few days ago. I believe it was made by Weatherby and if so, it is known among collectors as a Weatherby Southgate. The condition of the rifle and the grade would determine value. I sold one of the base models that had been reblued and stock refinished. It brought $750 and this was 5 years or so back. If you will describe in detail the inlays in the stock and/or checkering pattern it will help evaluate your rifle. Also, the amount of original finish remaining. It would originally have had a highly polished blue.
