Scope for Beretta Neos???

Would love to get your expert opinions on getting a scope for my Beretta U-22 Neos. Not going to do any serious shooting, just plinking and the occasional squirrel. Great pistol, but I don't really think it deserves a Burris or Leupold. What power should a newbie pistol shooter be lookin' for, fixed 2X? Also, have been pondering a red dot...love the one on my bow.

  Not what you want to hear, but mine wears a Burris 4x. For me a good choice. Do remember that you need a lot more eye relief from a handguns scope, so it needs to be built for handguns.
