    I have put the ace folding stock kit on my AK and it works great. Strong lock up when open. It takes a little force to close but not an issue with me. [8D]

    Kimberkid, On the Ace website, I noticed an optional cheek pad was available for the AK style folding stocks. I assume it would work with the DR200. Also, definitely will have to replace the parts you mentioned with usa made ones. Already ordered some Thermold (USA made) mags for the gun too.

    Guess the best bet is to deal direct with the manufacturer. I checked with Brownells and they wanted about 50.00 more than ACE.

    The biggest concern I had with the ace stock was the lack of a good cheek weld ... typical for wire frame type stocks.

    I found an adaptor at GunBroker.com that allows an AR type collapsing stock that I went with instead ... just remember that inorder for a folding stock conversion to be legal you have to replace the FCG with US made parts and only use US made mags to keep your parts count legal!
