Springfield 1911/ ammo choice

I have a Springfield 1911. I have found out that there are some types of ammo that this gun doesn't care for. Does anyone know of a good cheap ammo that they use in 45 cal. Wolf doesn't work, i bough a box called "Independance" ammo, and that stuff works better but still jams. I bought a box of winchest white box at walmart and that stuff seems to work fine. What ammo does your springfield like best. Has anyone had any luck with the wolf ammo.

  Sorry to hear that, mine eat anything I feed them.
  Mostly Wolf, S&B , Win , and 'generic range reloads'.
  
  Do you have feed problems or ejection problems.
  That may narrow it down a little to brew up a fix.
  
  If we do not hang together,
  We will most certainly hang separately.
