Legal bbl length...Check

18" for a shotgun barrel if I remember correctly!?!....Would that include the chamber measurement????...Or would it be a full length of 21" with a 3" chamber included????....Not sure where to cut....[?]

  Measured from bolt or breech face. Action closed, rod down the barrel. Leave yourself a little extra, suggest 18 1/4, no less than 18 1/8.

  Rifle, pistol or shotgun, measure from the face of the (closed) bolt.
  Revolvers are measured from the face of the cylinder, not the recoil shield.

  Don't forget the OAL of 26 inches when you trim down your barrel if you have a pistol grip,,
