is the Mountain Gun you are firing a 629 all-steel version/ Or is it the 329 lightweight (Scandium, Aluminum). Just curious. I am considering the purhase of an all-stainless Mountain gun. I'll need some practice and am curious as to how many cylinders I should fire between breaks (to not get my palms too tender [;)]).

The Backpacker is a 6 shot stainless with a 3" non-tapered barrel. I believe the Mountain Gun has a tapered barrel. I like a 3" because it clears the holter faster than a 4". 0
