Western Auto Supply Co. 410 Pump?
I have just came across an old .410 ga. pump shotgun and would like to know more about its value.. The Gun is in excellent shape, blueing and wood. It says: Revelation, (in cursive writing), Made in USA, Western Auto Supply Co., R310EC, .410 GA. Anyone have any idea of where to find more info or a prive on it?

It was built for Western Auto, by Mossberg and is the Mossberg 510AB or rather probably an economy version. Most of the department store guns were scaled back from the Manufacturers version so that they could be sold more cheaply. Value derives from demand, and for used guns most demand is for the name brands and particularly watershed models. There is virtually no collector interest in the department store guns, so they always sell in the shooter price range. Given that it is a .410 there may be some premium as there is some demand for .410's and they are just less common than, say, 12 gauge. I would estimate the value of your shotgun at between $75 and $175 depending upon condition. On a good day it might bring $25 to $50 more. 0 -
My cross-over list, ( Blue Book ), shows it to be made for Western Auto by Mossberg. It's their Model 500AB.
Generally these "Store Brand", "Hardware Guns" don't bring a lot of money. Nothing wrong with them just not a lot of collector demand/interest = -value.
Depends on what a Mossberg 410 pump would go for in your area. My 2 cents, look at knocking off anywhere between 10 & 25 percent, from the fair market value of the Mossberg.
