    Only sale I have recorded in my database is a VG (slightly scuffed edges, most likely) box going for $11. This cartridge + this era + Remington = virtually no collector demand. If it were the early blue Remington box or pre-war WRA, yes. Most collectors would regard it as simply old blasting ammo.

    That makes me feel better, I blasted a bunch of woodchucks with some of that last summer. I had this knot in my stomach every time I fired a round.

    [paper box 50rnds] Herters 22's worth much to a collector or should i shoot'm-up [?]

    Mr. Gee: Depends on how old and how nice. If the red/black/white color scheme, code RF88 and in *MINT* condition, $10 - $15 if you find the right guy. Below mint condition, value drops off sharply. The attraction to a .22 collector on all material, but especially the more common modern (as opposed to pre-1900 or rare variations) boxes, is the packaging.

    Thank you Iconoclast... yes its the red & blk its more then fair maybe verygood+ not sure exactly how to judge.. there is no tears or folds , interesting at that price i could buy maybe a brick w/the$$$, an some collector would be happy for me not shooting-up what do suggest Ebay or is there a site...?
