any info 32 colt old
I inherited an old pistol of my dads. It is a 32 Colt. On the barrel it says 32 W.C.F. It is a single action with black plastic grips that have a horse standing on its back legs with stick or something trough his mouth. It says PAT SEPT.19 187? JULY 2 72 jAN. 19 7?. Some of the #s I cant read. My Dad used to chase chicken thieves during the depression he used to call it a 32 on a 38 frame. Any info would be greatly appreciated.Not sure I want to sell it. Dads been gone several years & just curios about the pistol & its heritage.

Sounds Like a first generation colt single action army But to be sure we need a picture This is a pistol that in good shape is very collectable do a search on colt Saa and see if your pistol looks like on of these 32WCF is 32/20 0 -

yea it made me sick when I saw it several years ago. He was just a young kid & talked my dad out of it to what he called fix it up. I was furios & so was my dad so he give it to me then before he died. Oh well I want it for the sentimental value more than anything. But it was so great to see apicture of another one. 0
