Unidentified .38 S&W

I have aqquired a Smith and Wesson .38 snubnose. I have loked this up everywhere. It is not the ladysmith which has the enternal hammer. It is also not an Airweight, because as I have seen on numerous Airweights, it does not state "Airweight" on the side of the gun.

This gun is in EXCELLENT Condition and looks fairly new. It also has a smaller pinkie grip on the handle. If anyone can help me get a price or name of this that would really help, if you want a pic. e-mail me. Thanks!!!

  S & W made quite a few internal hammer revolvers over the years. It's not possible with the information you gave us to identify your particular model with any certainty.
  
  Your going to have to give us all the external and internal markings, plus a partial serial number, ( X out the last 2 digets ), for us to be able to help you.

  We like to think we are good, but we're not quite good enough to answer your question with the info. given.
  
  If there is no model number stamped in the yoke cut of the frame then it's probably before 1957. If there is a model number then you've got that bit ...
