CZ model Z safety?
I just brought home a cz model z .25--made in 1950---and while cleaning it, I couldn't find a safety! The Duo appeared to have a crescent shaped hook on top of the slide lock lever that fit in a slot on the slide, but not this model. What am I missing?

Every one that I've run across has had the safety lever on the upper left side of the frame just to the rear of the grip.
There was a .25 auto made by CZ with out a safety, ( Model 1945 ). This pistol was double action only. This pistol was also marked "Z"
after the Commies took over Czechoslovakia. Perhaps this is the pistol you have?
