Need Info on Weaver V-22 Scope......

This Scope is "Like New" but I know absolutely "ZIP" about this scope! Anyone able to tell me when these were made? This one is 3 X 6 Variable and seems to be about a 32 reticle. It is mounted on a .22 LR Colt single shot rifle. I was wondering what this scope might be worth also if anyone has a clue. Appreciate any input..... Thanks!

    According to the book Old Rifle Scopes by Stroebel, the V22 was made from 1965 to 1984. Value given is $30 to $50.

    i have a MOSSBERG MODEL 341 bolt action rifle that sports a WEAVER V22-A SCOPE, 3-6X22MM, 3/4" TUBE...

    its a quality, late production scope, and i have had no problems. the eye relief is a bit longer than normal...

    i think $50.00 is a good estimate of its current value.

    mrmike08075, Are you sure about that tube diameter? Stroebel says it is .0875 (7/8").

    The Weaver V22-A has round metal screw-on dust caps which is an improvement over the easily lost plastic tear-drop shape dust covers of the plain V22 model. The V22-A should fetch a higher price than the V22 in my opinion.
